This course is aimed delegates who’s duties include the use of a lorry mounted crane and is perfect for candidates who have previous experience of operating a lorry mounted crane, but don’t have any formal training or certification.

This course is aimed at those involved with the management of the transport operations as well as drivers who want to know more. Traffic Commissioners often require hauliers to attend this course after hearings and public inquiries.
One Day Emergency First Aid CRS10841/1913
Whether you need first aid, health and safety training for work, or want to learn first aid for everyday life, this course is aimed at you.
As a driver, this is an invaluable course giving you the confidence to assist and help others in need. With both theory and practical elements, the course gives you the skills required to assist at the scene of an accident until help arrives, it also helps employers comply with legal requirements placed on them in the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.
Those attending this course will have a good understanding of the legal requirements around the safe loading, securing, and offloading of plant on a vehicle. They will also have a good understanding of industry recognised procedures and be able to demonstrate good practice whilst loading, securing, and offloading plant.
This course approval works in conjunction with the IPAF Load Unload course and IPAF approved Centres can register the training as CPC periodic training when completed with a CPC Link Member.
Delegates will understand the relationship between mental health and physical health and understand how stigma affects mental health. The course also ensures those attending have knowledge of risk and protective factors and an understanding of how to build their own resilience and understand how mental health, wellbeing and lifestyle behaviours affect all aspects of an individuals role and responsibilities. Finally, the course looks at knowledge and practical strategies required to improve wellbeing including managing the effects of fatigue/stress and work/rest cycle and how to how to access mental health support.
This course has been put together for us by the Compass charity, a charity providing health and wellbeing services, helping people unleash their unique potential and live healthier, safer and more fulfilling lives.
